Mango Syrup

 





Ingredients:


Mango - 5nos (75% ripped)

Sugar - 5 cups

Salt - 1 tsp

Black salt - 1 tsp

Jeera - 1 tbs 

Mint leaves to garnish



Method:


Dry fry the jeera and make it a nice powder.

Wash and cook the mango in a pressure cooker for 4 or 5 whistles.

After it comes to normal temperature peel the outer layer and seed. 

Mash the cooked mango smoothly and keep it aside. 

Add a cup of water to sugar and boil it till it comes to 1 thread thick consistency. 

After the sugar syrup comes to the  normal temperature 

add the mango smoothy , salt and black salt and stir well . 

This is called Mango Syrup. No need to refrigerate this .

When you need mango drink add  4 tbs mango syrup with one cup cold water.

Garnish with a pinch of jeera powder and  a few fresh mint leaves.
