Green Gram Dhal (Spilit yellow) Halwa

  

Ingredients:



Yellow green gram dhal - 1 cup

Jaggery - 1 cup

Ghee - 4 tbs

Cashews - 1o nos 

Raisins - 10 nos 

Cardamom powder - 1 tsp


Method:



Wash and soak the yellow green gram dhal in water for 3 hours.

Grind it as  a nice paste. 

Fry the cashews and raisins with a tsp of ghee and keep aside.

Dissolve the jaggery in water and filter the dust and make it a thick syrup.

In a pan at medium flame put the ghee and add the ground dhal paste. 

Stir continuously  till it comes like kova. 

Now add the jaggery syrup and the fried items and cardamom powder. 

Add the remaining ghee and stir well and serve hot or cold...
